Timed mental math drills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Choose 1- to 7-digit numbers in any combination, or work through every two-digit problem without repeats — with speed and accuracy stats.
Mental arithmetic exercises working memory, number sense, and processing speed: holding numbers in your head, breaking a problem into steps, and recalling facts like times tables instantly. Regular short sessions make everyday math — splitting a bill, checking change, estimating a total — faster and less effortful.
Pick one or more operations and a session length. Problems appear one at a time; type the answer and the correct one moves you straight to the next problem, with no need to press Enter. A wrong answer flashes red and clears so you can try again.
There are two modes. Progression works through every two-digit combination in shuffled order, without repeats, before moving on to three-digit numbers, and saves your place on this device. Custom digits lets you choose how long each number is — anywhere from 1 to 7 digits — and mix lengths freely: 3-digit × 1-digit multiplication, 4-digit addition, 6-digit ÷ 2-digit division, or any combination. Subtraction always puts the larger number first, and division problems always divide evenly.
Press Start exercise, pick a mode and your operations, choose the digit lengths for the first and second number if you're using custom digits, set a length (1 minute to 2 hours), then start the session. Your choices are remembered for next time. On a phone, use the on-screen keypad; on a computer, type with your keyboard. When time runs out you'll see how many you solved, your accuracy, how quickly you started typing and finished each answer, and which problems slowed you down most.
Start with a single operation and a short session, then mix operations once it feels easy. For two-digit addition, try adding the tens first and then the ones (47 + 38 → 70 + 15 → 85). For multiplication, split one number (46 × 7 → 40 × 7 + 6 × 7). Watch the "slowest questions" table after each session — those are the patterns worth practicing.
